Shancus Von was the son of Evra Von and Merla and a snake-boy like his father. He was named in Darren's honor due to Evra being a close friend of Darren. When it was his birthday, Darren got him a new snake. Shancus was later kidnapped by Morgan James and R.V. and was later killed by Steve. Steve breaks his neck, trying to tempt Darren into doing the same to his son, Darius. Darren was almost convinced into doing it until he learned Darius was his nephew.In 'Sons of Destiny' Shancus is seen hanging from a noose above Steve .
